FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to sheet materials based on titanium alloys, which are suitable for making articles by low-temperature superplastic deformation (SPD) at 775 °C, and can be used as cheaper alternative to sheet semi-finished products made of Ti-6Al-4V alloy. Sheet material of titanium alloy for low-temperature superplastic deformation (SPD), containing mass. % 4.5–5.5 Al, 4.5–5.5 V, 0.1–1.0 Mo, 0.8–1.5 Fe, 0.1–0.5 Cr, 0.1–0.5 Ni, 0.16–0.25 O, the rest are titanium and impurities, and having grain size from more than 2 to 8 mcm. Structural molybdenum equivalent [Mo]eq is more than 5, structural aluminum equivalent [Al]eq is less than 8. Equivalents are defined by the following expressions: [Mo]eq=[Mo]+[V]/1.5+[Cr]×1.25+[Fe]×2.5+[Ni]/0.8; [Al]eq=[Al]+[O]×10.
EFFECT: in the sheet material, the chemical composition is optimally balanced to enable production of an end product based on known standard technologies and having low-temperature superplastic deformation properties.
