SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of transport machine building. According to the first embodiment, the step system of the vehicle containing the bumper has an end element. Bumper end element moves between closed position and open position. In open position end element has step surface. According to the second embodiment, vehicle step system comprises actuator connected with end element of bumper and moves it between closed position and open position. Method of forming a step for a vehicle having a bumper connected to a vehicle comprises moving the end bumper element into an open position by opening the step surface. Step surface is located below bumper upper part.
EFFECT: improved access to the vehicle step is achieved.
