FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to catapult devices of aircraft carriers. Steam catapult with the possibility of parallel connection, series connection and separate control includes housing, gas storage tank and additionally catapult unit. Catapult unit includes deck (8), channel of sliding block, sliding unit (43), case of reduced pressure chamber, pipeline, cylinder, piston bushing and conical frame. Speed of input and output flows in three ejecting hydraulic cylinders and rear ejecting hydraulic cylinders (512) is controlled by three stepped valves. Tensioning rod is installed in the centre of piston left side end surface. Axial core and axial piston are arranged in tension rod and move together.
EFFECT: invention improves device reliability, provides performance of several operations, high start-up speed, efficiency and air-tightness.
