FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment used in maintenance and repair of caterpillar and wheeled vehicles. Guide cone for alignment of torsion shaft during assembly is arranged as dismountable and consists of base and tip. Base made as one with rod is truncated cone with cross-section perpendicular to its axis. Rod is located in centre of lower plane of base and has thread for connection with torsion shaft. Upper plane of the base has a threaded hole for connection to the tip. In the side surface of the cone base perpendicular to its axis there is a through hole for the cylindrical rod. Diameter of base in lower part is equal to diameter of small head of torsion shaft along hollows of splines, which provides coaxiality of shaft relative to hole. Tip is made as one with a rod having a thread for connection to the base.
EFFECT: enabling alignment of small head of torsion shaft and splined hole in suspension bracket of opposite side.
