FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: to solve problem of delivery of new vehicles it is suggested assembly for assembly of commercial vehicle delivered directly from the plant in the form of flat-hull cargo, in which chassis of vehicle is used as a tray. Set can contain running gear, engine made with possibility of its attachment to running gear, located inside running gear, supporting it, and some set of running elements vertical elements, made with possibility of attachment to it and serving to form at least vehicle cabin. Components making up the set can be fixed in place, for example, by winding or tying them using suitable films, tapes or cords. Body panels can be supplied, which are made with possibility of their attachment to vertical elements of undercarriage, which are located on top of running gear flat. Prior to shipment of set to running gear at places of their final installation brake line, braiding of wires and main components of power transmission, such as engine, differential and propeller shaft can be pre-attached. With such a solution, the complete set can be prepared at the corresponding factory and shipped in the form of a flat-body load. Very little packing material is required, since the chassis itself is used as a tray for other components, providing for them the necessary rigid support and possibility of handling the set as with the load.

EFFECT: resulting cargo unit occupies an area close to that of the assembled vehicle, however, the height of the packaged set is one-third or one-quarter of the height of the assembled vehicle; several such sets laid with suitable separating elements can be placed into one conveyor or into one container.
