SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of transport machine building. In the first embodiment, a structural reinforcement assembly for a corner pillar region of an aluminium pickup truck box comprises a truck bed, cross member, a box pillar and a corner node. Cross member secured to the truck bed. Box pillar is located at a first corner portion. Corner node includes a transverse portion partially disposed within the cross member cavity, and a pillar portion secured to the box pillar. Pillar portion includes internal web supports vertically spaced apart along the box pillar. Corner node reinforces the corner pillar region between the cross member and the box pillar. According to the second embodiment, said structural reinforcement assembly comprises a headboard mounted on a truck bed at the front edge and between the front box pillars. According to the third embodiment, said structural reinforcement assembly comprises a corner node located within the cavity defined by a cross member and a corner box pillar.

EFFECT: high reliability of the aluminium body of a pickup truck.
