FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to detection of condensate for surfaces of a vehicle. Vehicle comprises a side mirror, a light transmitter, a first light sensor and an opacity detector. Side mirror includes a front surface and a rear surface. Transmitter of light is connected to vehicle door next to side mirror to emit light beam to side mirror. First light-sensitive sensor is connected to the back surface for detection of the first light intensity of the light beam. Opacity detector determines whether there is condensate on the side mirror based on the first light intensity.
EFFECT: higher traffic safety due to possibility of detection of condensate for vehicle surfaces.
