SUBSTANCE: proposed vehicle. Vehicle comprises a side window, an array of infrared sensors, which includes the first pixels of the resolution of measurement in order to monitor the occupant, and second pixels of resolution of measurement to control side window and controller of situation in cabin. Cabin environment controller is configured to select first pixels and second pixels of array of infrared sensors based on location of person occupying place relative to side window, detecting, using first pixels, whether the body temperature of the occupant is outside the predetermined temperature range, and detecting, with the help of the second pixels, whether there is misting on the side window. Disclosed also is a method for monitoring occupants and windows of vehicles.

EFFECT: control of occupants and vehicle windows is achieved.
