FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a film for use in construction practice, which is a part of a building, for example a roof, walls or windows of buildings. Film contains a polymer material and an additive, where the polymer material is a fluoropolymer, and the additive is selected from titanium nitride and tungsten oxide. Preferred polymer materials can be a copolymer of ethylene and chlorotrifluoroethylene (ECTFE) or an ethylene and tetrafluoroethylene copolymer (ETFE). Film is characterized by a thickness of at least 10 mcm and less than 500 mcm. If the additive is titanium nitride, the film contains at least 50 ppm and less than 500 ppm of titanium nitride. If the additive is tungsten oxide, the film contains at least 250 ppm and less than 3,000 ppm of tungsten oxide, where tungsten oxide has the formula WOx, where 2.65≤x≤2.95. Described also is a method of producing a film, a method of producing a composition used to produce a film, and a composition for producing a film.
EFFECT: providing films which, when placed on the outer side of the building, pass a considerable amount of visible light into the building, but limit infrared penetration while maintaining transparency of the film.
