FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to orthopedics, and can be used in surgical treatment of children with juvenile epiphysiolysis of femoral head. Trotsenko-Nuzhdin plate is used to correct deformation and fixation of hip fragments. Insertion points of the branch are determined in area located 0.3–0.5 cm up from the growth zone of the greater trochanter and distant from the middle line of the lateral surface of the greater trochanter by the value of the femoral head posterior displacement. Direction of insertion of the branch is marked so that the angle formed by the line passing along the length of the diaphysial pad plate and the line extending along the hip diaphysis corresponds to the retroversion angle of the head. Channels are formed to insert a branch into a proximal femoral fragment. Performing intertrooperative osteotomy. After insertion of the branch into the formed channels, the femoral head is simultaneously withdrawn from the retroversion position, and its ablation is performed by pulling on the diaphysial pad, withdrawing it backwards until the median lines are passed through the long plate and the hip diaphysial, while maintaining a gap between the diaphysial pad and the diaphysis hip. By pressing the diaphysial pad to the hip diaphysis, displacement of the head downwards is eliminated. Plate fixing pad is placed on a large trochanter with screws directed outside the femoral neck canal. Diaphyseal pad of the plate is fixed to the hip.

EFFECT: method provides reducing traumatism, preventing blood loss in the femoral head, preventing early hip arthrosis by correcting the osteotomy.
