SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, and can be used when carrying out an intertrochanteric transverse osteotomy of the femur, rotation of the proximal fragment anteriorly, and the distal fragment internally and fixation of the fragments. The method uses a fixing device made angular, the cervical part of which is introduced from the antero-lateral surface of the femoral neck towards the center of the epiphysis of the femoral head. A wedge-shaped autograft is borrowed from the proximal fragment - the posteriorly protruding edge of the proximal fragment, formed as a result of performing an osteotomy of the femur and subsequent rotation of its fragments. The autograft is inserted into the anterior wedge-shaped diastasis of the fragments at the osteotomy level. The fixing device can be made angular, consisting of a diaphyseal pad and a neck part in the form of a blade or screws.
EFFECT: method provides reduction of rehabilitation period, exclusion of possible surgical interventions for stimulation of reparative process, reduction of intensity of postoperative pain syndrome due to use of fixation device and wedge-shaped autograft from proximal femur fragment.
