SUBSTANCE: invention relates to on-board element of optoelectronic equipment. To this end, a plurality of images (IMR1, IMR2) of a region (RS) are obtained, above which carrier (PO1, PO2) of said equipment element flies; receiving at least one obtained image and transmitting it to display device (EA); accessing the RS region images database (BD) over which the flight is being performed; extracting from database BD information making possible synthesis of virtual image (IMV) of said region, which would be visible to an observer, located in a predetermined observation point and looking, with a predetermined field of view along a predetermined line of sight; said virtual image is synthesized and transmitted to said or another display device.
EFFECT: improved visibility where pilot of aircraft P1 sees that pilot of aircraft P2 sees, and vice versa.
