FIELD: computer equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method is proposed for transfer of flat images of objects into 3D format, in which the object through the captured images is digitized by means of hardware and software of the computing device, wherein digitization of images involves searching for text, filtering the found results with text, applying text information and signs on surface of 3D model of the object; each image is analyzed for presence of boundaries and color characteristics, during analysis, contours are searched, contours are filtered, contour is recorded in 3D model format in the form of a sequence of points, search of images by template, filtration of found outlines and images; after processing images and reading structural parameters of object, a set of random mathematical expressions is obtained; obtained mathematical expressions are ordered and recorded in a database in form of 3D model file on the server.

EFFECT: technical result is enabling recognition of geometric figures by method of contour analysis of shape of object.
