FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for connection with locking ring. Connection device comprises a receiving part, a locking ring and a shaft section having a plurality of axial stops configured to prevent axial movement of the ring, when it is located around said section. Receiving part has a hole for installation of a shaft section in it. Ring is formed by two semi-rings movable relative to each other. Device comprises retention means made with possibility, when ring is installed in mounting position around said section and is retained in axial direction by means of axial stops, prevent spreading in circumferential direction of first end of first of semi-rings and first end of second of semi-rings. In mounting position ring is made with possibility to prevent relative movement in axial direction of shaft section relative to receiving part. Connection device is made so that in mounting position ring is located between shaft section and receiving part and is retained in radial direction on shaft section by means of receiving part. Retention means are configured to hold first ends of the semi-rings, wherein the second ends are free.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at simplifying connection of shaft section by means of locking ring.
