SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a polymer complex of a macrolide antibiotic azithromycin, which is a product of reacting an azithromycin antibiotic with a copolymer of acrylamide with 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane sulphonic acid of general formula (1), containing 25.5 mol%. of sulpho groups, with MM 33,000–160,000, a method for production thereof, as well as use of said complex for treating or preventing conditions associated with high permeability of the intestine, including complications following chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
