FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical engineering of textile materials. Composition comprises a thermosetting resin pre-condensate based on modified dimethylol dihydroxyethylene urea, magnesium chloride (hexahydrate), an acrylic emulsion, oxalic acid, a polymer preparation based on a polydimethyldiallylammonium base of molecular weight of 30,000–40,000, a silicone-containing softener and water.
EFFECT: disclosed are low-formaldehyde compositions for imparting non-breaking properties and anti-shrinking properties to cellulose and cellulose-containing textile materials in final finishing.
