FIELD: chemical technology of fibrous materials, in particular, low-creasing finishing of fabric in textile industry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves impregnating cellulose fabrics in aqueous solution including preparation based on thermosetting resin pre-condensates, catalyst and softener; providing thermal processing thereof in high-frequency currents field. Thermosetting resin pre-condensates are pre-condensates of modified low-formaldehyde thermosetting resins or thermosetting resins free from formaldehyde. Thermal processing is performed once during 4-6 s at intensity of high-frequency current field of 200-250 V/mm. Method allows power consumption to be reduced by 1.5-2 times.
EFFECT: reduced processing time and power consumption, reduced amount or complete elimination of residual free formaldehyde on fabric.
