SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sea transport, in particular, to operation of sea transport equipment, and can be used for safe lifting/descent of pilot or any person to ship/from ship along flexible discharge pilot storm ladder. Hand-rails for pilot storm ladder are arranged on ship main deck on both sides of pilot storm ladder and are composed of inverted U-shaped bracket. At that, the hand-rails are made detachable with the possibility of their installation and fixation in vertical sleeves, one of which is fixed on the horizontal surface at the edge of the ship main deck, and the other one is fixed on the ship hull vertical skin surface, wherein the outer support of the inverted U-shaped bracket extends beyond the vertical plane of the ship hull skin by not more than 150 mm.

EFFECT: increased safety of use of pilotage storm ladder with observance of requirements for provision of free passage along the deck.
