FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: stairway handrail for small vessel comprises a set of posts jointed to horizontal handrail and post locking mechanism arranged on vessel deck. Horizontal handrail represents U-shape in plan with its lateral parts jointed to two end and two central posts. Lower ends of end posts are provided with split retainers, while lower ends of central posts have hinged retainers. Note here that stairway handrail is arranged on the vessel bow.

EFFECT: higher safety ease of mooring.
