SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hardware implementations of a network transport protocol used during transmission and reception of information data. A network transport protocol controller (NTP) comprises: a NTP packet transmission controller, consisting of an arbitration unit, a NTP packet generating unit, a command buffering unit, a message buffering unit and an urgent message buffering unit; a controller for receiving NTP packets; a buffer to send NTP packets; received acknowledgments buffer received; received message commands buffer; transaction controller to receive NTP packets; a transaction controller for sending NTP packets; a request arbitration unit, a controller which converts calls from NTP transaction controllers in a transaction to a bus; a mode/state registers unit; a controller which converts incoming transactions into read/write accesses into a mode/state register.

EFFECT: technical result consists in providing highly reliable transportation of transmitted data over communication lines of SpaceWire network.
