FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to food industry, in particular, to food product. Food product obtained by pressing the dust composition contains, mainly vegetable protein or protein mixture, preferably only vegetable protein or protein mixture, and 1 % to 10 % of flavouring agents. Said flavours are selected from flavours with a dry fruit smell, such as "hazelnut" flavouring agent, "peanuts" flavouring agent, "cashew" flavouring agent, "pecan" flavouring agent, "pistachio" flavouring agent. These percentages are expressed relative to total weight of ingredients used in the recipe to produce said product. For consumption in the form of light snacks differing by the fact that they are defatted, non-allergenic. Invention relates to a method of producing said food product by producing a dusty composition comprising a vegetable protein or a mixture of plant proteins, preferably in the form of a mixture with at least one flavouring agent, filling the press matrix with said mixture, directly molding the mixture using a male die, extracting the male die which compresses and ejects the tablet. Invention relates to application of said product as a substitute of allergenic dried fruit.

EFFECT: food product is defatted, non-allergenic and has consistence and taste very similar to those of dry fruit.
