SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic chemistry, specifically to a method of producing C-hydroxymethylimidazo[4,5-e]benzo[1,2-c; 3,4-c'] difuroxane by condensation of 3,5-dibromophenylenediamine-1,2 with glycolic acid, nitration of 2-hydroxymethyl-4,6-dibromobenzimidazole with a mixture of sulfuric and nitric acids, azidation of 2-hydroxymethyl-4,6-dibromo-5,7-dinitrobenzimidazole and thermocyclisation of 2-hydroxymethyl-4,6-diazido-5,7-dinitrobenzimidazole.

EFFECT: method of obtaining a novel compound which can be used in medicine as an agent inhibiting thrombocyte is developed.
