SUBSTANCE: invention relates to filtration membranes. Separating element for tangential separation of treated fluid medium into filtrate and retentate, wherein said separation element comprises a monolithic rigid porous base of rectilinear structure, in which there are several channels for flow of treated fluid medium between inlet and outlet for retentate in order to collect filtrate from outer surface of base, wherein monolithic rigid porous base restricts obstacles extending from inner walls of said channels, for processed fluid flow, which are characterized by material identity and porous texture with base, as well as continuity of material and porous texture with base, wherein said obstacles create variations in the passage of the channel when at least one of the following criteria varies: straight cross-section area, straight cross-section shape and channel straight cross-section dimensions.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of filtration.
