FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in processing of organic streams. To extract phosphate into biomass, a source of magnesium ions is added and subjected to preliminary treatment, including a step of thermal hydrolysis at temperature of 140–220 °C and saturation pressure. Pre-treated biomass is transferred into bioreactor and subjected to anaerobic fermentation at pH from 7.5 to 8.5 to obtain a fermentation product. PH is regulated in bioreactor by continuous removal of biogas containing gaseous carbon dioxide and methane, partial or complete separation of carbon dioxide from biogas and partial repeated supply of obtained biogas with reduced content of carbon dioxide into bioreactor. If necessary, magnesium and ammonium phosphate (MAP) concentration in the bioreactor is reduced by treating a certain amount of the fermentation product directed to separation of MAP, and repeated feeding of the remaining solid or semi-solid phase into the bioreactor. Phosphate is extracted in form of magnesium phosphate and ammonium or its hydrate (struvite) as a component part of solid or semi-solid fermentation product.
EFFECT: invention reduces consumption of water, energy and expensive reagents for extraction of phosphate from biomass, obtains a fermentation product suitable for soil improvement or for use as fertilizer.
