AUTOMATIC INJECTOR FOR INTRAMUSCULAR AND SUBCUTANEOUS INJECTIONS FOR MEDICAL SYRINGES Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61M5/00

Abstract RU 2692975 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: device relates to medical equipment, namely to devices for intramuscular and subcutaneous injection. Automatic injector for intramuscular and subcutaneous injections for medical syringes consists of a body, a syringe holder, a syringe lift retainer, a piston pusher, a rack, piston pusher lock, release button, syringe lift, lifting spring, needle insertion spring, extrusion spring, dynamic brake in the form of damper mechanism, damping lubricant. When preparing the automatic injector for injection, the piston pusher with gear rack interacts with the lift retainer and the pusher retainer to move to the extreme position until fixation, which leads to extension of the extrusion spring, after which the syringe lift moves to the opposite position, which leads to the needle insertion spring and the lifting spring extension, wherein syringe elevator is shifted to extreme position with intramuscular injection or middle position located between initial and extreme, with subcutaneous injection, then a pre-prepared syringe is inserted into the syringe holder, when injecting, the injector is pressed to the injection site, thereby pressing the safety device, wherein the fuse displacement ensures the free hand pressing of the person, wherein the push of the button disengages the pusher retainer with the body and under the needle input spring, the syringe cartridge holder moves towards the injection point together with the syringe installed in the syringe holder cartridge, wherein parts are moved: an injection liquid extruder pusher, a ratchet gear, a damper disk, a ratchet wheel axis, a damper cover, a damper lubricant and wherein the movement takes place until the syringe cartridge holder rests against the elevator, thus, the needle is inserted to the required depth and under the action of the extrusion springs, the piston pusher moves to the cartridge holder, thereby moving the syringe piston and squeezing the liquid for injection, at that, slow movement of piston pusher is provided by engagement of rack of pusher, ratchet gear, slack wheel axis, damping disk and due to rotation of damping disk in damping lubricant medium provides smooth, slow extrusion of liquid from syringe, unobstructed cocking of the pusher is provided by a ratchet on the ratchet gear, and when the pusher reaches the cartridge holder and the liquid from the syringe is squeezed, the lift retainer is lifted and under the action of the lifting spring the needle is brought to the opposite position, wherein movement of the elevator leads to extension of the needle input spring and the lifting spring, and if the subcutaneous injection, the lift is moved to the middle position between the initial and the extreme, and the cartridge is equipped with a pre-prepared syringe for injection and the whole device is ready for injection, injector is pressed to the injection point and thus the safety lock is pressed, the fuse displacement ensures the free pressing of the button by the human hand, wherein pressing the button disengages the pusher retainer with the body and under the needle input spring, the syringe cartridge holder moves towards the injection point together with the syringe installed in the syringe holder, also moving parts: pusher, springs of injection liquid injection, ratchet gear, damping disk, ratchet, damper cover, damping lubricant and movement is carried out until the syringe cartridge holder rests against the lift, thus, the needle is inserted to the required depth and under the action of the extrusion springs, the piston pusher moves to the cartridge holder, thereby moving the syringe piston and squeezing the liquid for injection, at that, slow movement of piston pusher is provided by engagement of rack of piston pusher, ratchet gear, slack wheel axis, damping disk and due to rotation of damping disk in damping lubricant medium provides smooth slow liquid extrusion from syringe, as well as unobstructed cocking of pusher is provided by ratchet on ratchet gear, and when pusher reaches cartridge holder, then liquid from syringe is squeezed, lifting lift retainer and under action of lifting spring all moves to initial working position and needle is withdrawn.

EFFECT: disclosed is an automatic injector for intramuscular and subcutaneous injections for medical syringes.
