SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to injection device and, in particular, to injector, suitable for independent introduction of medications, for example, introduction of insulin to patients with diabetes or for introduction of growth hormone. Injector contains case, dose-setting component, activated for setting desired dose, piston rod, made with possibility of interaction with piston for taking set dose out of injector, and means of function blocking. Means of function blocking is made with possibility of being during dose setting in first extreme position, in which piston rod is blocked from interaction with piston, and during injection of set dose in second extreme position, in which dose-setting component is blocked from activation of dose setting. Piston rod is connected with dosing bar by means of first threaded section with possibility of rotation during dose setting. To dosing bar through second threaded area connected is dosing component. Means of function blocking is equipped with first set of teeth, and dosing component is provided with first set of reciprocal teeth. First set of teeth and first set of reciprocal teeth are in gearing, when means of function blocking is in first extreme position. Dosing component is able to free rotation relative component of function blocking, when first set of teeth and first set of reciprocal teeth are taken out of gearing.

EFFECT: invention prevents undesirable taking medication out during dose setting, as well as undesirable movement of dose-setting means, during injection.
