FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: device designed to perform drug injections by means of a mechanism that automatically inserts a syringe needle into a human body and presses the syringe plunger. Automated injector for the administration of medicines contains a housing, in the front end of which there is a hole for the passage of the needle, one electric drive installed in the housing, configured to provide needle insertion, drug injection and needle withdrawal, a wave reducer mounted on the electric drive shaft, a carriage with a hook and a syringe holder, a pusher designed to engage with the carriage, a spring, and the output link of the reducer is made engaged with the pusher rail, having a protrusion in contact with the piston of the syringe for drug administration, while the injector contains a movable tip with a touch sensor located at the front end body, and a hinged cover that fixes the tip in the desired position.
EFFECT: increasing the degree of automation of the process of inserting/withdrawing the needle and injecting the drug, eliminating errors in the injection, simplifying and reducing the complexity of self-administration of the injection while ensuring high reliability of the device.
