SUBSTANCE: vehicle includes a system for reminding of tire rearrangement. System includes controller (20) which generates a reminder to relocate tires (12, 14) based on the predicted driving time to achieve a predetermined difference in tread wear between the front tire and the rear tire. Predicted driving time is based on the rate of variation of the difference between the circumference of front tires (12) and the circumference of rear tires (14). Reminder on tire shifting (12, 14) is output when predicted driving time is less than predetermined time. Disclosed also is a method for detecting a tire maintenance interval.
EFFECT: longer service life of tires.
