FIELD: metal forming.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pneumothermal molding of parts from sheet workpieces. Sheet workpiece is placed in matrix, heated to superplasticity temperature, non-uniform temperature field is created in it and deformed by working medium pressure. At that deformation of workpiece is carried out in vacuum chamber, and non-uniform temperature field in workpiece during its heating is created by means of elements contacting with workpiece surface, which prevent heating in places of maximum deformation of workpiece.
EFFECT: higher quality of parts due to reduced thicknesses.
