SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the computer equipment. Method of presenting an image on a display device includes: image modification by means of application of geometrical transformation to image section; and image representation, to which geometrical conversion has been applied, on display device, wherein section displayed on display device is presented to viewer through optical component using inverse transformation corresponding to geometric transformation, which has been applied to image so that section, to which geometrical conversion was applied, was perceived as having higher pixel density compared to parts, to which geometric conversion was not applied.
EFFECT: technical result is providing presentation of image on device with optimization of pixel redistribution.
