FIELD: hand tools.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cutting devices. Cutting system configured to program the length of cut hair comprises a hair cutting device with a receiving element for receiving an electromagnetic field, an element comprising an electromagnetic field source, a mechanism for adjusting the length of hair cutting and a computer system. Element containing the electromagnetic field source is placed outside the hair cutting device and is located in fixed interrelation with the processed head of the user. Computer system is configured to calculate the position of the cutting device relative to the element containing the electromagnetic field source. Hair cutting system relates this position to previously formed information on the hair length profile with respect to the required length of hair cutting in different positions.
EFFECT: based on the required hair cutting length in the determined position, the hair-cutting length automatic adjustment is performed by the hair clipper.
