FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, namely to an automated hair treatment system, a position indicator for this system and an ear insert for attachment to auricle. Earmould contains main body, elongated cylindrical ledge, first and second handle. Main body forms a landing area. Cylindrical ledge and first and second handles extend from main body. First handle and second handle are offset from each other at an angle and are configured to be pressed to the auricle. First handle comprises a free end forming the tip of the first handle. Second handle comprises a free end forming the tip of the second handle. Position indicator comprises a support unit and an earmould attached thereto. Automated hair treatment system comprises a portable manual hair treatment device, a hair treatment unit made on said device and a position tracking unit. Tracking assembly comprises position indicator. At least one element of the hair treatment device is controlled depending on the actual orientation and actual position of the device relative to the head of the object to be treated.
EFFECT: providing positioning and retaining structure, which can be used in context of automated systems for hairstyle and hair cutting, in particular for position/orientation detection.
