FIELD: petroleum chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to petrochemistry, specifically to methods of purifying diesel fuel (DF), hydrocarbons and motor fuels from sulfur derivatives. Catalyst is a mixed heteropoly compound applied on a solid mineral carrier. Heteropoly compound used is a product of reaction of sodium tungstate, sodium hydrophosphate, hydrochloric acid and zinc salt. Method is catalytic oxidative conversion of sulfur derivatives in hydrocarbon solutions in the presence of hydrogen peroxide and said catalyst. Purification of hydrocarbons is carried out by repeating cycles of desulphurisation with removal of sulfur conversion products before the next cleaning cycle.
EFFECT: technical result is obtaining fuel according to Euro-5 standard with residual sulfur content of 10 ppm while simplifying the method.
