SUBSTANCE: digital decorative coating application machine for decorating articles, which comprises a support frame, at least one conveyor designed to transport the decorated items in the feeding direction, and at least one decorative coating application unit connected to the support frame and located above the conveyor, wherein said at least one decorative coating application unit comprises corresponding printheads provided with nozzles for ejecting the fluid onto the surface of the articles to be decorated, and housing, inside of which there is at least one support made integral with heads.
EFFECT: support is made with possibility of movement relative to housing between upper inactive position and lower working position, in which heads are located at required distance from surface of decorated items.
