FIELD: lighting engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to LED lighting devices, mainly, to car headlights. Result is achieved by periodic sampling of voltage at the positive input of power supply to the device and converting these voltage samples into a digital signal by means of analog-to-digital conversion. Thereafter, digital signal processing and analysis are performed by means of digital signal processing, during which the type of voltage supplied to the positive input of the device is determined. In case constant voltage is detected, rated current is supplied to light-emitting diodes, and in case of detecting pulsing voltage, current is supplied to LEDs, the value of which is lower than rated current by preset value. Device for controlling light output of light-emitting diodes has positive and negative power supply inputs to the device, light-emitting diodes, pulse current stabilizer and control unit. Control unit comprises analogue-to-digital converter, digital signal processing and analysis unit, switch and control drive of said switch. Key control drive is connected to the digital signal processing and analysis unit, and the key is installed in the electric circuit break which connects the control output of the control unit to the “ground”. Pulse current stabilizer comprises source of reference voltage, positive terminal of which is connected to control output of control unit by means of electric circuit containing smoothing filter.
EFFECT: technical result is possibility of using LED lamps installed in car headlights instead of incandescent lamps.
