FIELD: electrical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical equipment and electric power engineering. Reactor has one thyristor group 1 connected to outputs of one three-phase winding 3, and the second thyristor group 2 is connected to outputs of the second three-phase winding 4 shifted relative to the first one by 30 electrodes. Novelty is that if the preset current value lies in area from 0.45 to 0.5, from one triac group, pulses are removed, leaving the other in operation, and if its value lies in area from 0.5 to 0.55, one triac group is kept in full opening mode, changing the other one into control mode.
EFFECT: disclosed is thyristor reactor control method.
