FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary science and represents a method for prevention of endometritis in cows, involving introduction into an animal's body of a biogenic stimulator, intramuscular uterotonium and intrauterine probiotic bacteria, characterized in that probiotic bacteria are introduced in the form of a suppository containing in equal proportions a dry biomass of B. Licheniformis, B. Subtilis and Lactobacillus amylovorus cell cultures, cocoa butter, paraffin, milk fat in the following amount per one suppository with weight of 7 g: cocoa butter – 2.45 g, paraffin – 1.4 g, milk fat – 0.91 g with powder of microbial strains – 1.75 g and leavens: citric acid – 0.14 g, food soda – 0.35 g, wherein biogenic stimulator used is cytohumate, which is introduced daily, starting 20 days before calving in calculation of 50 ml per head in a mixture with fodder, uteroton – once a day in dose of 10 ml for three consecutive days after calving, and suppositories – once day for 4 suppositories within 3 days after calving.
EFFECT: declared invention provides more effective prevention of endometritis.
