SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering. Method comprises steps of: identifying an upper boundary for the number of data bits which can be transmitted in a symbol to be transmitted to a receiver; determining the number of bits of data to be transmitted to a receiver in a symbol; selectively adding filling to the end of a protocol data unit (PDU) containing a symbol, wherein the value of filling is based at least in part on the ratio of the number of bits of data to be transmitted, and upper boundary for number of data bits, which can be transmitted in symbol; and transmitting said PDU to a receiver.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of communication efficiency.
