SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a downlink multi-user transmission method of an access point device in a wireless local area network system. Method comprises steps of generating a downlink (DL) MU physical protocol data unit (PPDU) including a physical preamble and a data field, wherein the data field includes at least one medium access control (MAC) protocol data unit (MPDU), wherein the at least one MPDU includes a MAC header and a MAC frame body, and the MAC header includes acknowledgement (ACK) indication information, and wherein the ACK indication information includes frequency resource allocation information for transmission by an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) in MU mode over an uplink (UL), ACK frames, modulation and coding scheme (MCS) level information and length information for UL MU PPDU carrying ACK frames, transmitting said DL MU PPDU over DL to multiple receiving stations (STA) and receiving ACK frames from said plurality of receiving STA simultaneously as a response to the DL MU PPDU.

EFFECT: technical result is higher downlink bandwidth.
