FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the liquid crystal display (LCD) systems backlighting technology and can be used in board indicators when operators are operating under normal conditions and using night vision devices (NVD). Total luminous flux during daylight and nighttime illumination is formed by summation of direct radiation of the corresponding light emitting diodes of the optical emitter and re-reflected radiation, which are formed with the help of a reflector. Reflector is made of opaque material with high diffuse reflection coefficient and has holes dimensions and samples, which exclude during daytime operation of the LCD, parasitic illumination, which occurs both due to partial passage of light from day white LEDs through light filters installed above light-emitting diodes of night illumination, and due to re-reflection from light filters. In the night mode of operation of the LCD, due to the passage of radiation of light-emitting diodes through the light filter at angles close to the normal, complete filtration of the visible part of the radiation spectrum of the light-emitting diode is provided.

EFFECT: technical result consists in providing undistorted full-color display of information in daytime mode of operation of the LCD and avoiding the effect of radiation of night-time illumination LEDs on the operation of the NVD in the night-time mode of the LCD.
