FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to design of additional engine equipment. In this method, heat released during operation of compressor (3) is partially transferred to fuel flowing through its cooling cavity, which is therefore heated and supplied to high pressure fuel pump (HPFP), wherein fuel surpluses from the fuel pump and nozzles are not merged into the fuel tank, and are returned through the coarse fuel purification filter (CFPF) (2) into the suction line of the fuel priming pump (FPP) (1), which provides heating of the GFPF and an increase in the average fuel temperature of the incoming from tank. Besides, compressor cooling conditions are improved due to higher efficiency of the latter.

EFFECT: rational use of heat released during compressor operation for heating diesel fuel supplied to engine nozzles in order to improve injection parameters and mix formation in low temperature conditions.
