FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a composition and a method of producing elastomeric articles. Described is a latex composition for making elastomeric articles, comprising a mixture of a base polymer, wherein the base polymer is a carboxylated acrylonitrile-butadiene polymer; a cross-linking agent; with a pH regulator to provide a pH range of 9.5 to 10.5; characterized in that the cross-linking agent is a mixture of a trivalent metal or a trivalent metal compound; polyethylene glycol, wherein ethylene glycol polyethylene glycol has a molecular weight in range of 200 Dalton to 200,000 Daltons; a compound containing a hydroxide ion, wherein the compound containing a hydroxide ion is selected from a group consisting of potassium hydroxide, sodium hydroxide, ammonium hydroxide or mixtures thereof. Also described is a method of producing a latex composition and elastomer gloves.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of latex composition and improved physical and mechanical properties of articles from composition.
