FIELD: gas analysis, detection of leaks of natural gas and their intensities in main pipe-lines. SUBSTANCE: gas analyzer incorporates two lasers which irradiate tested section of the earth surface close to pipe-line and register radiation scatted by surface with the aid of receiving optical system and photodetector connected to amplifier-converter. Electric pulses from output of amplifier- converter go to buffer storage and subtracter. Comparison result is displayed on signal device and registered on recorder which functions as long-time storage. Each laser of analyzer is connected to proper output of unit controlling operational modes composed of unit of delay formation, timer, two amplifiers- converters, unit controlling retuning. Unit of retuning of radiation independently and smoothly tuning length of radiation wave in range 3.1- 3.6 μ connected to unit controlling operational modes and optically coupled to one of two units of calibration and control mounted additionally is placed between each laser and unit of formation and radiation output. Outputs of additional units of calibration and control are connected to unit controlling operational modes, corresponding outputs of commutator of this unit are coupled to each amplifier-converter, timer and unit controlling retuning. Timer is coupled to unit of delay formation, output of commutator is connected to subtracter, output of timer is linked to buffer storage and output of unit controlling retuning is coupled to subtracter. Unit of spatial radiation scanning optically coupling output of radiation formation and output unit to input of receiving optical system via irradiated section of the Earth surface and connected to unit controlling operational modes into which unit controlling spatial scanning is incorporated is mounted behind unit of formation and radiation output on optical axis for additional increase of accuracy of determination of coordinates of point of leak. EFFECT: increased accuracy of leak detection in pipe-lines. 2 cl, 5 dwg
