FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to experimental medicine, namely to simulating the phlegmon of the maxillary region, and can be used in research, particularly for developing methods of treating said pathology and evaluating their effectiveness. For this purpose, 0.2 ml of peritoneal suppurative fluid exudate produced from another animal (rat) is injected once into the laboratory animal (rat) under the periosteum of the lower jaw from the vestibular surface in the region of molars as a result of simulation of experimental peritonitis.
EFFECT: this method authentically simulates the phlegmon of the maxillary region, ensuring the inclusion of all pathogenetic mechanisms of the pyoinflammatory process, and enables the experimental search and development of new methods of treating the phlegmon of the maxillary region in humans.
