FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the preparation of bacteriocin microorganisms, particularly to production of nisin, and includes strains - producers of bacteriocin and a method for production thereof. Bacteriocin producers are represented by new strains of bacteria Bacillus safensis VKPM V-12180, Bacillus licheniformis VKPM V-12224, Bacillus pumilus VKPM V-12182 and Bacillus endophyticus VKPM V-12181. Produced bacteriocin nisin has a wide spectrum of antimicrobial action. Method of producing bacteriocin is based on cultivation of strains - producers on nutrient medium, separation of culture liquid, its concentration and isolation of bacteriocin with high antimicrobial activity.
EFFECT: group of inventions enables to obtain bacteriocin nisin with high antimicrobial activity.
