FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for more effective in relation to existing methods industrial extraction of heavy precious and rare elements from relatively lighter rocks and sands in unfavorable technological conditions and with their low content in rock. Method involves obtaining pulp by mixing ground ore material and/or sand with weighted aqueous clay solution selected from a group, including but not limited to suspension, emulsion, hydrogel, density value ρf which satisfies condition ρlc<ρg<ρhc, and centrifugation of obtained pulp with separation thereof into heavy mineral-rich solution and depleted sludge and/or sand.
EFFECT: high efficiency of removing heavy useful materials from pulp with minimum ingress of light rock into concentrate regardless of fractionality.
