FIELD: computer equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automatics and computer engineering and can be used in systems of monitoring and control of mobile objects. Device comprises a measuring shaft, on which there is a code disc, a power source, emitters, photodetectors, photoamplifiers, a built-in analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) of a first microcontroller (MC) with a JTAG interface, digital multi-position switch, pumping current control unit, set of resistors, analogue switch, second microcontroller with JTAG interface, indication unit, read-only memory (ROM), first, second and third input/output cells of second MC.
EFFECT: improved reliability of converter due to use of boundary scanning method for detecting defects of mounting of main microcontroller at level of separate contacts, as well as implementation of diagnostics of measuring channels of ODAC at the level of separate functional elements.
