PUMP NOZZLE FOR DISPENSER, METERING DEVICE AND POSSIBILITY OF THEIR APPLICATION Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC B05B11/00

Abstract RU 2694760 C2

FIELD: spraying; pulverisation.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a pump fitting for a dispenser designed for dispensing a fluid medium and can be mounted on a container for storing a dispensed fluid. Pump nozzle (I) for a dispenser designed for dispensing fluid medium comprises pump housing (7) having a pressure chamber, inlet valve (8) limiting pressure chamber, conical element (5) located in pressure chamber of pump housing (7) with possibility of movement and having through channel. Conical element in the part oriented in the direction of the inlet valve is made with dimensions ensuring its directing into the pressure chamber with conformity in form, and in the remaining parts has a smaller cross section. Pump nozzle also comprises exhaust valve (4) through which fluid medium is supplied and which is in flow communication with through channel of conical element (5), and component (6), providing narrowing of pressure chamber diameter in part located opposite inlet valve (8), and intended for guiding of conical element (5). Nozzle (I) comprises at least one air intake for air direction and having air passage between conical element (5) and component (6), and at least one through hole for air, made in pump housing (7) and opened when conical element (5) moves into outlet position, at which pump nozzle (I) provides for supply of fluid medium. Between outlet hole for fluid medium and outlet valve (4) there is insert (3), which contains a shell, surrounding inner cavity, which surrounds outlet valve (4). Through the wall of shell there passes through hole (dot hole) open in at least one guide channel (E, F) for fluid medium, located on outer surface of shell, passing in upper part of shell around last and then to outlet end of shell and limited by upper part (2) of pump nozzle, in which insert (3) is inserted with matching in shape. Metering device for dosed supply of fluid medium includes a pump nozzle (I) and a reservoir (II) for storage of the supplied fluid medium, having a hole and connected to the pump nozzle (I) in the specified hole by means of component (6) with provision of isolation from fluids. Pump nozzle can be used for dosed supply of liquid or semi-solid contents, such as, for example, solutions, aerosols, gels, ointments, creams, pastes, particularly used in pharmaceutical industry, preferably eye drops, eye aerosols, nasal drops, nasal aerosols, and/or in food industry.

EFFECT: technical result of the group of inventions is the design simplification and protection of the pump nozzle or dosing device against microorganisms.
