FIELD: acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to acoustics. Converter includes a cylindrical housing with an annular upper part, a diaphragm, a bimorph piezoelectric element and a damping disk. Diaphragm has an annular recess which divides it into an outer flat circular part connected to the side wall of the body and to the inner part. Bimorph piezoelectric element with two piezoceramic disks is connected to annular vertex of cavity by its external periphery. Damping disk is attached to the center of the inner part of the diaphragm. Circular part of the body is provided with ledge limited by conical surfaces and creates slotted space above diaphragm recess, which is also formed by conical surfaces.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency and high sound pressure.
