FIELD: test equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for testing pyrotechnic means, comprising a nozzle unit in the form of a double cylindrical housing with pressure sensors, sealing, gas release and ignition assemblies, the latter comprising an element destructed by a fixed pressure, which opens the gas outlet assembly. Device is characterized by the fact that said housing is installed on the support site of the gun carriage by means of a screw attachment using a clamp, wherein the nozzle unit further includes a tracer element installed in the ignition chamber on the side of the sealing assembly, and the installed sensors do not protrude beyond the lower part of the double cylindrical housing.

EFFECT: device allows to reproduce and visualize service conditions of ignition of powder when determining ballistic characteristics.
